Counseling Interns

Counseling interns have completed a graduate degree in counseling, and supervised practicum experience working with clients prior to graduation. Each intern is licensed by the state of Texas to practice with the supervision of a licensed experienced mental health provider. They bring a new energy and vitality to the process of assisting clients.

I believe there are times in each of our lives that may require counseling. These times may occur when we are no longer able to handle or manage the issues we are facing. I believe in the process of counseling and the positive effects counseling can provide and would like the opportunity to assist you through this process.

I am licensed by the state of Texas and am practicing under the supervision of Linda McCune, LPC-S. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University. I have worked as a counselor in both community agencies and private practice. I currently provide individual counseling for adolescents and adults. I have worked with clients on a variety of issues including adhd, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, self esteem issues, and stress management.

My approach to counseling depends on the client; however, I often utilize in counseling Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. For a review of this approach, click here.

To schedule an appointment, you can reach me by email at tccounselor@yahoo.com. My fee is $70.00 per 50 minute session.
